My church has a daily devotional we run by and yesterday’s was titled *Invest in yourself*. In a way, it was a sent word that buttressed what I’ve been up to because lately I’ve been doing a lot of personal investment which mainly ain’t financial (it will one day give me that in returns tho from the knowledge and skills acquired) but the investment has been mainly adding knowledge and personal development and after seeing the devotional, I felt I’ll be doing wrong if I can’t share this gold.
Investment is the sacrifice you make today for the sake of tomorrow. Investment consciousness will make you deny yourself of certain pleasures at the present time so that your future can be better.
Most people know about financial investments such as real estate investment, stock market and retirement plans. However, there is a greater form of investment which will determine what your future will be like. This is investing in self-development (Which is a journey I’m on).
You must put enough value on yourself to the point that you are willing to spend any amount of money on your personal development, I realized that me not spending on my growth is not being frugal but it only means I don’t believe in myself enough (I don’t trust myself to multiply the seeds). There is need to convince the world that you believe enough in yourself by committing to your personal development.
Begin to consciously schedule time for your personal improvement. Do things that will develop the gifts and talents that you are endowed with. Get materials that will enhance your knowledge and wisdom. It is time to prepare for your manifestation. Every great manifestation is a product of adequate preparation. Your world is waiting for your excellent display. Give them a SHOW! ?
