In my previous post, I started a discussion on having a positive mindset towards situations and I gave three (3) pointers that can help on that which includes; Identification of situations, Gratitude and Meditation.
This post is a wrap up on the topic and I’ll briefly discuss three (3) other pointers.
4. Detoxify often: Some people will literally not be able to afford some airlines because of the baggage they pack along (sarcasm), please learn to travel light. It is unfair on the future if you drag along toxins from your past into it. All those things that you think about too much but still won’t change, drop them. Cut negative and toxic people out of your life, you don’t need them. Detoxifying will make the biggest difference in your life.
5. Renovate: After you’ve cut out toxic people and your negative past, you should find more positive things to surround yourself with. Go to new places, try new recipes, buy yourself something new, read new inspiring books, if it means painting your room green because you chose blue with your estrange ex (RENOVATE please) and be with people who inspires you.
6. Affirmation: To keep the positivity high you should continue to form a positive mindset through positive and motivational self talk. I personally love affirmation and use them a lot with my meditation.
