I can’t be dismayed!

This wasn’t the dress I set out for today, not even close. You know that my favorite long #YellowDress, ehn, that one with only 2 crimes;
※ An off-shoulder that shows my slender caramelized chocolate neck and shoulder blades 💁, and
※ A well-fitted material that shows the flat tummy and curves I mostly hide under maxi clothes. . .
So I took bike well dressed with no makeup on to go to church today, only for the security men at OAU gate to stop the bike that I should go back home to change my dress. WHAT! 😳 Ain’t nothing wrong with this dress but I’m too polite to be rude and mortified to argue so I just told my bikeman to take me back home, even he was surprised.

While on that bike, the only thing on my mind was to get home and sleep, this is a sign, haba, not even with how far my house is to the school. . . #distance #time #cost #embarrassment #stress. . . But, on getting home, I was convinced “Devil is a Goat” and I won’t let him deprive me of today’s blessings, so I told the bikeman to wait, I rushed in, picked clothing items more ME and comfy and hopped on the bike again.
I haven’t gone far before I learnt my first reason for going back, it was to answer someone’s prayer. Apparently, a woman carrying a child was going the same distance but resolved to walk it because of money, well, here comes the angel with a ride. . . After I realized the first lesson, I became expectant of more and these I got in the service. I wouldn’t/couldn’t afford to miss a God’s presence like that, and, guess what, I still slayed to church even in my maxi-shirt, denim and sneakers.😋😂
Some situations won’t look it and temptation will hit you so hard that you’ll seek exit from the easiest way, listen to your spirit, follow your heart and do not be dismayed.

Much Love,
